Capacity Building

With the aim of making economic benefits together with the community, Sinar Mas Land has conducted several community trainings in enhancing special abilities in managing market (pasar), like maximizing personal special skills and utilizing technology for market traders.

Capacity building that have been prepared by Sinar Mas Land for the community there are the Kriya centers in Rumah Pintar to teach mothers to make handicrafts (e.g pillow) so they can be sell it and it has value, teaches about agribusiness to the community and peternakan lele located in Telaga Desa, and training at Pasar Rakyat School for traders/UMKM to compete with traders in other markets. Sinar Mas Land Capacity Building program has succeeded in educating 600 market managers (pengelola pasar) and affecting 360,100 market traders throughout Indonesia until 2019 supported by Ministry of Trade (Kementrian Perdagangan).
