Mulyawan Gani (Chief of Transformation and Data Officer of Sinar Mas Land) was a speaker at the Indonesia Economic Forum (IEF) 2024 titled “Prabowonomics: An Insight into The New Government’s Key Economic Policies,” held on Wednesday (October 16) at The Westin, Jakarta.

Jakarta, 18 October 2024 – Living Lab Ventures (LLV), the corporate venture capital arm of Sinar Mas Land, is reinforcing its commitment to driving Indonesia's economic transformation through new economic creation and global partnerships at the Indonesia Economic Forum (IEF) 2024 session, which was held on Wednesday (16/10) at The Westin, Jakarta. In this forum, Mulyawan Gani (Chief of Transformation and Data Officer Sinar Mas Land) and Bayu Seto (Partner of Living Lab Ventures) were speakers in a discussion session titled “Prabowonomics: An Insight into The New Government’s Key Economic Policies”. Also participating as speakers in this session were Dirgayuza Setiawan (Editor of Nation Transformation Strategy) and Sachin Vijaya Gopalan (Founder and CEO of Indonesia Economic Forum).

Indonesia Economic Forum 2024

IEF brings together business leaders, policymakers, entrepreneurs, and civil society actors in Indonesia. This discussion forum explored perspectives on the key economic policies of the new government under the leadership of Indonesia's elected President for 2024–2029, Prabowo Subianto, which focuses on strengthening collaborations to achieve 8% Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth and equitable prosperity for the Indonesian people. 

Mulyawan Gani, Chief of Transformation and Data Officer Sinar Mas Land, explained how Sinar Mas Land through its project BSD City has evolved into a dynamic ecosystem supporting various sectors such as technology, education, and international healthcare, while attracting global investments. “BSD City is a prime example of how innovation and strategic collaborations can be a key driver of new economic creation. Our ecosystem has attracted many global companies to participate in technology and innovation development in Indonesia. On the other hand, the smart city and green technology initiatives applied in BSD City make it a leading hub for innovative and sustainable urban development in Indonesia.” 

Global partnerships play a vital role in accelerating new economic growth. LLV has established strategic collaborations with various international entities, including from New South Wales, Japan, and ASEAN countries, to help Indonesian startups enter global markets and support foreign companies looking to expand into Indonesia.
