BSD City, October 5, 2021 ーSinar Mas Land, through its BSD City’s Modern Market, has cooperated with the South Tangerang District Attorney Office to provide free legal counseling service for the market’s sellers and customers as well as the South Tangerang community. It is a part of Pasar Rakyat School program which the company has initiated in order to give knowledge and counseling to support the market sellers’ business growth.
The Head of the South Tangerang District Attorney Office, Aliansyah, S.H., M.H., joined the event and opened today’s (10/5) free legal counseling in the eastern parking area of the BSD City’s Modern Market. Nine officials from the South Tangerang District Attorney Office were available to provide legal counseling on trading law, civil law, business entity’s legality, agreement’s terms and conditions, land law, protection for business owners, consumer protection, contract drafting, and more.
The Civil Law and State Administrative Head of the South Tangerang District Attorney Office, Rahmadhy Seno, said the BSD City’s Modern Market was chosen thanks to its strategic location and large numbers of visitors. “Thank you Sinar Mas Land for helping us increase legal awareness, especially for the micro, small, and medium enterprises’ (UMKM) owners.
Sinar Mas Land connects us with the UMKM owners as well as the visitors of the BSD City’s Modern Market. We hope this event may boost the community’s knowledge and understanding on legal awareness.”

Managing Director President Office of Sinar Mas Land, Dhony Rahajoe, added that the company had cared about the UMKM owners, customers, and community. “We fight along with the UMKM owners to revive the economy during the pandemic. They were previously one of our main concerns when conducting the vaccination centers so they could serve the community well. Now, we are giving them legal counseling so their business can optimally thrive. This free legal counseling is open for both visitors and community to allow them to enjoy legal protection facilities,” says Dhony.
Pasar Rakyat School program is an innovation from Sinar Mas Land to support the Indonesian economy, especially that of UMKM. Each of the program’s sessions presents professionals of various expertises to help improve the knowledge and skills of the UMKM owners’, market management, and other public market-related stakeholders.
