BSD City, October 8, 2021 ー Sinar Mas Land, represented by Dhony Rahajoe (Managing Director of President Office of Sinar Mas Land), Alim Gunadi (Managing Director of Business Development of Sinar Mas Land), and Ignesjz Kemalawarta (Head of Corporate Governance and Sustainability of Sinar Mas Land), welcomed Minister of National Development Planning and Head of the National Development Planning Agency Suharso Monoarfa who was visiting BSD City on Thursday (10/7). The visit was meant to learn about the green building project in the BSD Green Office Park area as it would help the government with the new capital city’s office areas development in East Kalimantan. The government acknowledges the importance of environmental aspect, among others, for the new capital city.

One of the projects the Minister and his team visited was BSD Green Office Park. This area is the first Indonesian district that has been certified with a Gold Green District from the Singapore’s Building Construction Authority (BCA). “We feel honoured because Sinar Mas Land’s green building project has become one of the government’s references for the new capital city development project.
The company so far is committed to environmentally friendly development, which is implemented on its residential and commercial building developments, as well as its infrastructure developments such as applying plastic waste-mixed asphalt,” says Dhony.
All buildings within the BSD Green Office Park area are run on environmentally friendly materials, energy saving features, water saving features, low carbon emission, and integrated waste management. Five buildings in the area are all certified as green buildings from Green Building Council Indonesia (GBCI).
